KeywordsHistorical interpretation praxis of baroque music, early fingerings, stylus phantasticus, dimunition techniques and improvisation
My inspirationWhen playing music from the past, it is nessesary to have a great knowledge of the historical context. To thoroughly study the sources as the composer is not able to defend him/her self any more. It is our duty to research and apply his/her intentions as well as possible. The results of this research should however lead to a lively and inspired interpretation.
